Who we are

LadsInBriefs (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the LadsInBriefs Telegram group. The website and the group’s bot are developed and hosted for us by SquareNet Media. You can contact us about privacy at any time through the contact form.

Our approach

LadsInBriefs is an adult community, so we treat information about who belongs to it as sensitive. We collect as little as we can, we don’t sell or share it for marketing, we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and access is limited to the people who run the community.

Information we collect on this website

Contact form

Your email address, your message, and optionally your name and Telegram @handle. We use them to read and reply to your enquiry, and the details are forwarded privately to our admins on Telegram. Enquiries are stored encrypted and deleted 12 months after we’ve dealt with them.

Donations

Your email address (for your receipt), the amount, and optionally your name. Card payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep a record of each donation, with your name and email stored encrypted, for as long as we need it for our financial records.

Technical information

Like any website, our server receives your IP address and browser details when you visit. We use them only to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated form submissions).

Cookies and browser storage

We only use cookies that the site needs to work: a session cookie and a security cookie that protects forms against forgery. The donation page loads Stripe, which sets its own cookies to prevent payment fraud. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we don’t ask for cookie consent.

When you confirm you’re 18 or over, your browser remembers that choice so you aren’t asked again on every page. It’s stored only on your device, is never sent to us and contains no personal information. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Information our Telegram bot records

The LadsInBriefs bot helps run the group. To do that it records, for members of the group:

• your Telegram user ID, and the first name, last name and username your Telegram profile shows;
• when you joined or left, and when you were last active (the time of your latest message or photo);
• inactivity reminders sent to you and any removal from the group (moderation history);
• if you ask to join, your join request and whether you confirmed you’re 18+ and accepted the rules;
• if you start a private chat with the bot, that you did so (so it can message you directly).

The bot does not store the text of your messages or copies of your photos. To react to photos it briefly keeps the message reference (not the photo) for 30 days. Technical records of incoming updates are kept for 7 days. Member records are kept while you’re a member and afterwards as moderation history; you can ask us to delete yours.

The group itself runs on Telegram, which processes your account and everything you post under its own privacy policy.

Why we use your information

• To run and moderate the community – keeping the group active, on-theme and safe (our legitimate interests in operating the community).
• To answer enquiries you send us (legitimate interests, or steps you’ve asked us to take).
• To take and record donations (to process the payment you ask for, and to keep financial records).
• To protect the website and members from abuse, fraud and spam (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we need to operate:

• Stripe – payment processing for donations;
• Telegram – the group and the bot operate on Telegram;
• SquareNet Media and our hosting provider – to build, host and maintain the website and bot.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards. We never sell personal information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Use the contact form and include your Telegram @handle or user ID if your request is about the group. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Age

LadsInBriefs is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we use personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
